When you have multiple teams sharing a pair of stadiums, as do football programs in Richland Districts 21 and 2, you are bound to have a Thursday night game at least once a year. Even though Camden has made its fair share of trips to Columbia for Thursday contests in the past, it does not make Thursday’s Region 4-AAA opener with defending conference champion A.C. Flora at Memorial Stadium any easier to prepare for. In talking to coaches from several Richland County programs, Camden head coach Jimmy Neal learned that those teams have their routine down when it comes playing such contests.
