Rebounding from a tough, one-run loss to non-region rival Hartsville on Thursday, the Camden High baseball team bounced back to close out Region 4-AAA foe Westwood in six innings one night later.The 11-1 win over Westwood gave the Bulldogs a 2-1 mark in conference play while they improved to 5-1 overall.Camden banged out 15 hits on Friday with Darius Smith leading the way with a 3-for-3 night while scoring twice and stealing three bases. CHS head coach Denny Beckley said he hopes a night like this will turn things around for Smith, his team’s leadoff batter.“We finally had some balls fall our way offensively in this game,” Beckley said. “Darius had three hits and man, did he deserve them.
