Dogs to travel Saturday

Should Camden had defeated visiting Carolina Academy on Thursday, the Bulldogs will be on the road for Saturday’s AAA District 3 elimination game.

Should Camden travel to  West-Oak, it will be a noon start. If the Bulldogs have to face Emerald, first pitch will be at 1 p.m.

The Camden softball team traveled to meet Seneca in Thursday’s AAA District 2 opening game.

The Lady Bulldogs will be in action Saturday, regardless of the outcome of their Thursday pairing.

Should Camden face top-seed Broome, Lynn Looney’s squad will make the trip to Spartanburg. If the Lady Bulldogs play Emerald, a four seed, the game will be played Saturday at Marcus Warren Memorial Field in Camden. 

A starting time will be decided sometime on Friday.

CHS netters get first round bye: The Camden High tennis team, the Region 4-AAA champions, have a bye in today’s first round  state playoff opener.

The Dogs will host the winner of this afternoon’s Southside at Mid-Carolina match on Tuesday, April 30 on the Roger Smoak Tennis Courts at the Bulldog Athletic Complex.
