Playing their fourth match in five days and facing a strong and experienced Dreher squad, the Camden boys’ soccer team came out on the short end of a 7-1 score in a Region 4-AAA contest played last Friday night in Columbia. The setback, which snapped a three-match win streak for Camden, left the Dogs with a 4-7 record and 1-2 in conference play heading into tonight’s key encounter at Richland Northeast in a pairing which will almost surely have post-season implications. Dreher, which is ranked third in class AAA, improved to 8-1 on the season in the win.
