Furman feels right for Robinson

India signing
CAMDEN HIGH SENIOR India Robinson, flanked by her parents, Dave and Paula Robinson, signs a national soccer letter-of-intent with Furman University. Looking on from behind are (from left) CHS Principal Dan Matthews; CHS soccer coaches Pam Wilson Chickering and Stephen Sutusky and CHS Athletic Director Jimmy Neal.
If India Robinson never kicked a soccer ball, the chances were pretty good that colleges would still be knocking at her door, trying to attract the Camden High School senior to their institution of higher learning. Robinson is the embodiment of the term “student-athlete.” As the current top-ranked senior in her class, Robinson is the leading candidate to be the valedictorian at the school’s commencement in the spring.
