Playing what head baseball coach Denny Beckley said was his team’s best game of the season, Camden handed host Hartsville a 9-1 defeat in Wednesday’s non-region game played at Kellytown Field.The victory came one night after the Bulldogs knocked off Lower Richland in a Region 4-AAA game.Austen Haney threw a complete game three-hitter for his second win in eight days. The sophomore fanned four, walked one and gave up an unearned run with two outs in the bottom of the seventh.The performance drew rave reviews from his coach.“Austen was dominant,” Beckley said of the right-hander. “This was the third time we played Hartsville this season and in the first two games, they hit the ball hard against us.
