Denny Beckley had little right to be feeling upbeat as he led his Camden baseball team onto the field to face North Central in Tuesday’s third game of the Kershaw-Richland Classic wood bat tournament game at American Legion Park. After all, the Bulldogs entered the game with two straight losses --- including Monday’s 5-4 setback to previously winless Ridge View --- while facing a Knight squad which had given them fits in the past in this event.
