On an afternoon when their two seniors were given the day off, the Camden High tennis team had more than enough talent on hand to upend Lower Richland, 5-1, last Wednesday in a Region 4-AAA match played in Columbia. The win evened the Lady Bulldogs’ conference mark at 3-3 and boosted their post-season possibilities as four teams from each region will advance to the AAA state tournament which begins on Oct. 31.Kelsey Williams was moved into Madison Hudson’s spot at first singles and the junior got the visitors off on the right foot with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Aryanna Bolton. The match was Williams’ first at the top singles position as Camden held out both Hudson and Maggie Wehunt. “Kelsey has been playing well this year and she set the tone for us in this match,” said CHS head coach Stephen Sutusky.
