Having won their first two games by shutout and playing to a scoreless draw in their third contest, the Camden High girls’ soccer team fell to AAAA state power Bluffton, 3-0, to finish second in the Michael Nash Memorial Soccer Tournament hosted by North Myrtle Beach High School last weekend. This was the second time in as many seasons that the Lady Bulldogs took runner-up honors in the six-team event.Camden's first match of the tournament was played in a downpour last Friday afternoon but the rains did not slow down the Lady Bulldogs who blanked Loris 7-0. Freshman Brooke Galdeen scored the first two goals of the season for Stephen Sutusky’s troops on assists from seniors Kayla Wallace and Savannah Locke. CHS never looked back after that as Breanna Barnes and Jordan Woody also scored two goals in the contest.
