In a final string of conference matches which were all basically playoffs to get into the playoffs, the Camden High boys’ soccer team used a Roberto Pena header with three minutes left in regulation to break a 1-1 tie and give the Dogs a 2-1 win over Richland Northeast on Tuesday. The victory locked down fourth place in Region 4-AAA for Mark Chickering’s charges which will play in the AAA state tournament which begins May 5. In a battle for fourth place in the conference and with one last playoff berth on the line, Pena took a long throw-in from Carlos Williams and headed the ball into the upper corner of the goal in the 77th minute to break a 1-1 stalemate.
