CARLOS WILLIAMS SIGNED a National Letter of Intent to continue his academic and track and field pursuits at Gardner-Webb University while flanked by his parents, Gazella and Bryan Williams. Looking on from left are, Camden High athletics director Jimmy Neal, CHS track coach Angie Brennen and CHS track coach Emet Reyes.
His mother earned national attention when she became one of the first female high school wrestlers in the country while a student at Camden High School. His father was a lightning-quick guard with a good handle for the Bulldog basketball team. So, when it came time for Carlos Williams to pick a sport to play in college it was naturally ... track and field.
