Stags rally past Camden, 7-5

Playing with the lead did not seem to suit Camden as the Bulldogs saw their 4-0 third inning advantage go by the boards in Thursday’s 7-5 loss to host Berkeley in the first round of the District 5-AAA baseball tournament. The loss was the third in a row and seventh in the last eight starts for the Bulldogs, which scored the game’s final run in the top of the seventh after having loaded the bases with no outs. But the guests were not able to make any more headway as BHS ace Tyler Barwick settled down to get a fly ball out and a strikeout after having come in to start the seventh.
