CAMDEN HIGH’S ZANE COOK (bottom row, third from left) signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his academic and baseball-playing pursuits at Montreat College. When Zane Cook was elevated to the Camden High varsity baseball team by head coach Denny Beckley, the freshman third baseman was placed at the top of the batting order thanks to his ability to draw walks and get on base. He was the perfect table setter.
