In spite of his team’s being shut out by fourth-ranked Chapin, 9-0, last Friday night and then by A.C. Flora, 6-0, Tuesday, Camden baseball coach Denny Beckley is hardly singing the blues. The two conference losses gave the Bulldogs a 2-3 mark in Region 4-AAA play heading into tonight’s 7 p.m. home game with A.C. Flora.“I know there’s probably a lot of people who are saying that we’re in a dark place, right now,” Beckley said. “We’re not happy with where we are, but we’re making progress. Our scores are not indicative of how we’re playing.“We have players out there who are not happy with losing and are starting to do something about it.
