Some teams like to schedule a “cupcake” for late-season games before heading into the post-season.The Camden High girls’ soccer team went in an entirely different direction.Facing a traditionally tough Dreher program in their next-to-last regular season match, the Lady Bulldogs returned home from Columbia on Tuesday with a 2-1 loss in a game which went into penalty kicks after 80 minutes of regulation and two five-minute overtimes sessions could not produce a winner.The defeat was the second in a row for Stephen Sutusky’s charges which fell to 4A entry West Florence, 3-1, last Tuesday. CHS hosted another 4A squad, Sumter, on Thursday.“It was a disappointing ending,” Sutusky said following the emotional loss to his high school alma mater. “Our girls gave it everything they had; they really left everything on the field.
