It would probably suit Denny Beckley just fine if he never had to bring his Camden High baseball team to Greenville again.For the second time in as many years, the host Red Raiders put an end to Camden’s season. And, for the second time in three games, they did so with a walk-off home run.Last year, it was Glenn Batson’s three-run walk-off home run --- his third of the game --- which gave Greenville a 7-6 win over the Bulldogs in the state tourney opener. GHS then knocked Camden out of the event with an 8-4 victory.Monday night, in a 3A District 1 elimination game, the Red Raiders’ Ben Paden sent a two-out, two-strike wind-aided grand slam over the center field fence to give the hosts a 6-3 win over a Camden team which scored three times in the seventh to take a 3-2 lead.
