Well before the Spartans headed to East Clarendon for Friday night’s game against the Wolverines, CMA head coach Will Rice said the key to his team’s coming away with a victory would be how well they defended EC quarterback Carlos Hickson. The Spartans struggled in keeping the senior signal caller under wraps as the hosts cruised to a 48-8 victory over CMA, which is winless through three games.
