With one last chance to get that first victory, Camden Military Academy head football coach Will Rice tried to tug at his players’ emotions for Saturday’s season finale. The Q Foundation Academy will come to Spartan Field on Saturday for a 2:30 p.m. kickoff in a game in which, for some players, may be the final time they strap on the shoulder pads and buckle their chinstraps.“I think we have 14 seniors on this team,” Rice said. “We’ve been telling them that this is going to be the last time they walk on that field and, you don’t want to have any regrets when you walk off of it. We’ve been talking about that all week.”A victory on Saturday will take the sting out of, what to this point, has been an 0-7 start for the Spartans which did not collect a victory a season ago. That 2011 campaign closed with a 28-8 loss to the Q Foundation which enters Saturday’s game with a 1-6 record and is in the midst of a six-game skid.
