Fad Almalik broke a 1-1 tie with a second half goal which proved to be the different in the match as the Camden Military Academy junior varsity soccer team opened its season with a 2-1 win over Ben Lippen School on Monday in Columbia. The visiting Spartans played a solid first half with good ball possession and on-point combinations between midfielders and forwards. CMA sophomore Kile Rhodes picked up a ball past the midfield and blasted it into the back of the nets in the first half to open the scoring.
