Camden Military Academy was to have kicked off its 2015 football season on Saturday with a home game against Grace Crossing, a home-school team out of the Mecklenburg County area of North Carolina. Instead, last Friday, CMA head coach and athletic director Will Rice received a call from Fighting Christians’ head coach Jim Mallos informing Rice that Grace Crossing did not have enough players in order to play the game. For now, the contest will go down as a forfeit.
