Spartans tame Stallions, 32-0

By TOM DIDATO C-I (Camden, S.C.) sports editor As good as Will Rice felt after Nyann Pate’s season-opening 85-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, the Camden Military Academy head coach felt ever better after his team bolted to a 26-0 halftime lead which paved the way for a 32-0 rout over host North Myrtle Beach Christian Academy on Friday night in Longs. The win equaled the Spartans’ victory total from a year ago while giving the team momentum heading into Friday’s game at North Central. The guests trampled the Stallions by picking up all 325 of their yards in total offense over the ground against their overmatched hosts.
