STERLING COUNCIL HOPES to add more laurels to his resume before his USC Aiken career is over.
AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Camden’s Sterling Council, a guard at the University of South Carolina Aiken, was named to the Peach Belt Conference first-team basketball squad.The announcement of the post-season honors was made from the league office on Tuesday. The 2011-12 All-Conference team was selected by the league’s head coaches. Coaches were not permitted to vote for their own players.
