CHS holding father-son baseball camp; KCPRD hosts umpiring clinic

The Camden High School baseball coaching staff will host its annual Father-Son Baseball Camp on Saturday, March 8 at American Legion Park in Camden.The event is being sponsored by the Kershaw County Parks & Recreation Department.The camp, which focuses on the fundamentals of the game will be held from 9 a.m. until noon. Youngsters ages five and older and their parent/guardian are invited to attend the session. The cost is $30 per father/son pair with an additional $5 charge for more than one youngster from the same family.The cost includes tickets for that afternoon’s 4 p.m. baseball game between the University of South Carolina and Brown University to be played at Carolina Stadium in Columbia.
