CHS hosts two-day holiday hoops camp

The Camden High School boys’ basketball program and the Kershaw County Parks and Recreation Department are hosting a two-day, pre-Christmas camp at the school on Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 22 and 23.

Interim Bulldog head Ron McKie Jr. and assistant coach and former CHS and USC-Aiken standout Sterling Council will oversee the camp which is open to players in the first through 12th grades.

The cost is $25 per camp and the camp will run from 9 a.m. until noon both days and will be held inside the CHS gym. All campers need to bring workout clothes and tennis shoes.

Pre-registration is currently going on at the KCPRD and campers can register by phone by calling 425-6009. Campers may also register at the door prior to the start of the first session of camp on Dec. 22.
