CHS lefty brings Bunch of intangibles to Bucs
Dogs Holden Bunch signs on with Charleston Southern
CAMDENS HOLDEN BUNCH SIGNED a National Baseball Letter of Intent with Charleston Southern University while joined by, from left, his brother, Wyatt Bunch, and his parents, Barbara and Mike Bunch. Standing, from left, are CHS assistant baseball coach Brian Kersey, CHS head baseball coach Denny Beckley, CHS principal Dan Matthews, CHS pitching coach Joe Bowers and CHS asssistant baseball coach Tony Hough.
One day, you are a typical six-foot tall freshman baseball player who can eyeball your teammates. The next thing you know, they are suddenly looking up at you. The growth spurt which Camden High senior Holden Bunch went through after his freshman year of high school did not exactly happen overnight, but his transform to a 6-foot-6 lefthander put him on the fast track to the Bulldog varsity team and onto the radar of several college programs.
