CHS netters hold off L-E, 6-1

After being shut out in their first match with Camden this season, the Lugoff-Elgin tennis team received a victory from Trevor Black at first singles only to fall to their visiting neighbors, 6-1, on Monday. Black, who played a tough set against Camden’s Thomas deLoach in their first match scored his first victory of the year with a 7-6 (7-4), 7-5 win. "Their last meeting was much closer than the score would indicate with Trevor losing.
