In a story on former Camden High football standout and current University of South Carolina football player Cedrick Malone in the Wednesday, Aug. 5 edition of the Chronicle-Independent, the names of his mother and grandmother were inadvertently mixed up. Tonia Jenkins is the mother of Malone, who was listed as the grandmother. Malone’s grandmother is Bettye Lewis.
