Former Camden High two-sport standout Robert Council was named as the most outstanding player in Morgan State University’s 14-9 win over Howard in the 40th annual New York Urban League Football Classic played on Sept. 25 at MetLife Stadium at the Meadowlands in New Jersey. The win was the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference opener for Morgan State. Council, a 2010 CHS graduate, threw for 119 yards as he hit on 12 of his 18 pass attempts for the Bears.
