County basketball, wrestling teams prepare to take center stage

SENIOR TEVIN ALEXANDER is a threat to post a double-double each time he takes the floor for North Central this season.
All the footballs and volleyballs have been packed away as Kershaw County high school athletic teams head to the great indoors for the 2010-11 basketball and wrestling seasons. As was the case in football, the biggest change in the county will be Lugoff-Elgin’s move into the 4A ranks. The Demons bid a fond farewell to 3A wrestling last winter as they gave first-year head coach Even Moxie a state championship in his first go-‘round.
