County foursome honored at HSSR banquet

Four Kershaw County student-athletes were honored at Sunday’s High School Sports Report’s 28th Annual Fall Football Awards Banquet.The event was held at Seawells, located on the grounds of the South Carolina State Fair in Columbia.Coastal Carolina University head football coach Joe Moglia served as guest speaker for the afternoon banquet.North Central High School senior and Limestone College signee Warren Moseley was named to the HSSR class AA Division II All-State team as a tight end.The 6-foot-1, 215-pound Moseley led the Knights in tackles with 86, in solo stops with 33, in tackles for loss of yardage with 24.5, in quarterback sacks with four and with a dozen hits on the quarterback and a pair of caused fumbles. As a tight end, the three-year starter also hauled in 17 passes for 264 yards including a team-best five for touchdowns. For good measure, Moseley also was the Knights.’ kickerCamden High School had three players earn HSSR honors.
