Dreher scored 10 runs in the first four innings which was more than enough for pitcher Matt Mince to work with as the Blue Devils shut out Lugoff-Elgin, 10-0, to win the Kershaw Richland wooden bat tournament in a game played Thursday night at American Legion Park in Camden. The Demons (15-4), the defending event champions, won the Kershaw County portion of the tournament after having defeated North Central, South Aiken and Camden earlier in the week. Dreher, which hosted the Richland County portion of the eight-team event, advanced to Thursday’s title game by knocking off Crestwood, Gray Collegiate Academy and Irmo.
