CHRIS JACKSON AND L-E will head to Laurens High School on Friday for the 4A Upper State Individual Wrestling Championships.
Due to last week’s snowstorm, the Kershaw County high school basketball regular season will end this evening with a trio of doubleheaders from games which were postponed last week.The most important of the contests will be played tonight at 6 p.m. at Camden High School as the Bulldogs host Lower Richland on the Michael G. Culp Court for Senior Night.The Lady Bulldogs will open the evening hosting the second-ranked LR girls. The nightcap will decide which boys team finishes third in Region 4-AAA. The host Bulldogs enter the game with a 7-4 record in conference play while the Diamond Hornets carried a 6-4 league mark into Saturday’s make-up contest with River Bluff. Camden defeated LR earlier this season, 65-61.The third-place finisher from 4-AAA will head to meet Chapman, the Region 3 runner-up, in Thursday’s state tournament opening round contest.
