Dogs looking to get their offense in gear
Now that Camden has shored up its defense, it is time for the offense to get its act together. By inserting running backs Jericho Murphy and Lance McCray at free safety and linebacker, respectively, along with the return of injured defensive linemen Chase McKoy and Dontrell Sutton, the Camden defense played a solid game in limiting the big plays against an explosive Fairfield Central offense in last Friday’s 27-7 loss in Winnsboro. While the Bulldog defense graded out well in the film room, the offense never got traction in being held to 168 yards on just 37 snaps.
