Checking nearly every box that mattered, Camden presented first-year head coach Brian Rimpf with his first victory at the school in a military Appreciation Night win over visiting North Central in a contest which was hardly a spic and span effort for the hosts. The Bulldogs raced to a 35-7 halftime lead, endured a long and sloppily played third quarter end closed things by coming out on the long end of a 42-14 victory over NC at Zemp Stadium. The game left both in-county rivals sporting 1-1 records.
