That, in not so many words, was Ron McKie’s take on Camden’s romp over Lugoff-Elgin.Coming off his team’s most complete game of the young season, in a 10-point road win over a 6-1 Lakewood squad on Wednesday, the Camden head coach was hoping to use Friday’s home game against the visiting Demons as a springboard into Region 4-AAA play which kicks off for the Bulldogs on Tuesday against A.C. Flora.While Camden’s 52-27 win against its cross-river rivals might look good on paper, on the court it was hardly a Picasso. In fact, this one was downright ragged and ugly for most of the 32 minutes of play.If Camden (3-1) had turned the corner at Lakewood, it made a U-turn two nights later.
