In a perfect world, first-year Kershaw County American Legion head coach Curtis Johnson would have brought Will Dorton in one or, two innings later. In this imperfect scenario, however, Dorton was perfect at the perfect time. With the hosts holding a precarious 4-2 lead over Dalzell-Shaw heading into the top of the seventh inning, Post 175 loaded the bases against Post 17 reliever Taylor Lunsford with no outs.
