Engram to oversee Pitt's receiving corps
PITTSBURGH – Camden native and former Camden High Parade football All-American Bobby Engram has been named the wide receivers coach at the University of Pittsburgh.The hiring was announced last Friday by first-year Pitt head coach Paul Chryst.Engram, who played 14 years as a receiver in the National Football League following a decorated career at Penn State, joins the Panthers after serving as an offensive assistant this past season with the San Francisco 49ers, who won 14 games and the NFC West title en route to the NFC Championship game. “Bobby Engram is an outstanding addition to our staff,” Chryst said. “I’m really excited that our players will have the opportunity to learn and benefit from Bobby’s tremendous experience and knowledge of the game.
