A real hometown boy

In a day and age in which everyone seems to want to trace where they came from, sometimes one’s lineage can be found under their nose. Should Cash Crop want to learn of his origins, his trainer, Arch Kingsley, would only have to walk his 5-year-old gelding a few hundred yards from its stall on the adjoining grounds of the Springdale Race Course to the barns occupied by Mickey Preger Jr. at the Camden Training Center. It was at the neighboring flat track where Preger developed Cash Crop’s sire, Distorted Humor.
