Camden riders helps CCET take two titles in as many days

The Camden-based Central Carolina Equestrian Team won a pair of championships in two events contested on consecutive days at the South Carolina Equine Park in Camden earlier this fall.

After winning a competition hosted by Creekside IEA on Sept. 27, the teams of all girl riders came back the next day and repeated their feat by winning a team competition which was hosted by the Central Carolina Equestrian Team.

The Central Carolina Equestrian Team is coached by Pine Tree Stables coach Lynne Conto from Cassatt. The middle school riders hailing from Camden included Eliza Edwards, Mel Boucher, and Madison Montgomery while Maggie Knotts boards her horses in Lugoff. Hallie Geddings and Leigha Crisp live in Sumter. Melina Marsh and Sianna Smith hail from Pelion with Caroline Chichester being a Blythewood resident.
