Safe Conduct, a 3-year-old colt developed in Camden at Donna Freyer’s Custom Care Equine barn, won last month’s 162nd running of the $1 million Queen’s Plate, North America’s oldest continually run race, as the son of Bodemeister bested a hard-charging Riptide Rock by a head, Sunday at Woodbine Racetrack located in suburban Toronto.
