Tickets and parking spaces of all varieties are still on sale for the 44th Marion duPont Scott Colonial Cup Steeplechase Races on Saturday, Nov. 23.The gates to the Springdale Race Course will swing open to the general public at 9 a.m. The Jack Russell Terrier trials will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the infield with the Salute to the Military kicking off at 11 a.m. The first of the six races will meet the starters’ flag at 12:30 p.m.Once again, as part of saluting the military, the Colonial Cup is giving away 3,000 free general admission tickets along with 500 free infield reserved parking spaces to members of the military, both active and retired, and their families. Military members should contact the ITT/MWR office at their base to pick up a reservation form which then needs to be returned to the Carolina Cup Racing Association office on Knights Hill Rd. in Camden.
