Defending Colonial Cup champion and 2012 Eclipse Award runner-up Demonstrative leads a field of 10 entries headed to Belmont Park for Thursday’s $150,000 Lonesome Glory Handicap (Gr. 1). The 2 1/2-mile hurdle race kicks off the National Steeplechase Association’s Fall Championship Season.Given the high weight of 156 pounds, the 6-year-old Demonstrative won the Calvin Houghland Iroquois in his first 2013 start.
