Nobody blinked.Last Tuesday, 12 horses were nominated into the 43rd running of the $100,000 Marion duPont Scott Colonial Cup. Eight days later, every one of the dozen is headed into Saturday’s 2 ¾-mile steeplechase at the Springdale Race Course in Camden.The feature chase will be the fourth of six races in the final National Steeplechase Association meet of the season. The first race will meet the starter’s flag at 12:30 p.m.All five chases and the afternoon-ending 1 ½-mile race on the flat drew full fields.As for the day’s headliner, the final Grade I chase of the NSA campaign is topped by Mrs. George Ohrstrom Jr.’s, Demonstrative.
