It was a good third of July for Camden-conditioned horses and trainers on Sunday at New York’s Belmont Park. Emerald Beech, a 5-year-old mare trained by Hall of Famer and part-time Camden resident Jonathan Sheppard, won a $55,000 1 1/16-mile allowance race on the turf course. Alex Solis was up for the winning ride above the Augustin Stable homebred.
