Camden resident and Peachtree Racing president John Fort will try for a second Grade I victory in 15 days when Flashpoint takes to the race track in Saturday’s $1 million Preakness Stakes at the Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore. Fort and Peachtree were in the winners’ circle at Churchill Downs two weeks ago when Plum Pretty captured the $1 million Kentucky Oaks. Flashpoint will be one of two horses with Camden connections which will try to spoil Kentucky Derby winner Animal Kingdom’s quest for the Triple Crown.
