McDynamo, Tuscalee get Hall of Fame calls

Three-time Colonial Cup champion McDyamo and Tuscalee, champions who hold the respective records for steeplechase earnings and victories, have been elected to the Racing Hall of Fame, officials of the National Racing Museum announced on Friday. They will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at ceremonies in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., on Aug. 9.McDynamo, owned by Michael Moran of Unionville, Pa., and trained by Sanna Hendriks, was elected in his first year of eligibility for the Racing Hall of Fame under a quadrennial voting system. The Dynaformer gelding was the Eclipse Award winner as champion steeplechase horse in 2003, 2005, and 2006, and his $1,310,104 in purse earnings established a National Steeplechase Association record.
