Mild winter in the Mid-Atlantic has 12 jumpers eyeing Carolina Cup start

Last year in late February, Jack Fisher’s all-purpose track at his farm in Maryland was better suited for speed skating than it was for training his Thoroughbreds. Thanks to a much more mild winter in the Mid-Atlantic this season, Fisher’s horses have missed nary a day of work. And the four-time defending National Steeplechase Association leading trainer is coming into the 2016 campaign with both, make that all, guns blazing.
