Motion featured speaker at SCTOBA Banquet

Graham Motion, who trained 2011 Kentucky Derby winner Animal Kingdom, will be the guest speaker for the South Carolina Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders’ Association (SCTOBA) banquet in Camden on Saturday, Jan. 14. The annual event will be held inside the National Steeplechase Museum, located on Knights Hill Rd., beginning with a social hour at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $75 per person which includes the meal provided by Aberdeen Catery of Camden. This will be a return trip to Camden for the 52-year-old Motion whose career began with six years working with Hall of Fame trainer and part-time Camden resident Jonathan Sheppard.
