A large, accomplished field containing two Grade 1 winners and several other graded victors will line up Thursday for the $150,000 A. P. Smithwick Memorial (Gr. 1), the first top-rated steeplechase race on the Saratoga Race Course calendar. The Smithwick will be Thursday’s first race with a 1 p.m. post time.
