Since 1993, some of the graduates from Camden-based Shadwell Stables were sent to the barn of Kiaran McLaughlin. When McLaughlin decided to return to his roots as an agent for rider Luis Saez in early March, it forced the decision-makers at Shadwell’s offices in Lexington, Ky., to add a new face to its roster of conditioners.
